Culture Club was the popular Eighties popular class action, peradventure virtually all noticable for their gender-bending frontman Boy George. A more members of the band were Roy Hay, guitars and keyboards, Mikey Craig, bass and Jon Moss, drums. Awhile, it were one of a virtually all successful acts in the globe. Regrettably, drama in the b& and white plague would tarnish the children.

Their 1st album, 1982's Fondling to Become Clever, became a major international hit, spawning the hit singles "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me", "Time(Clock of the Heart)", & "I'll Tumble 4 Ya". Because of his nonconcentric manner of dress & androgynous look, Boy George became a worldwide celebrity.

Their 2nd album, 1983's Colour By Cost, besides did pleasantly swell, generating a band its first number one hit using "Karma Chameleon". All a same, pain was brewing inside the Culture Club camp. Unknown to the public, George, world health organization is gay, was getting an affair by having drummer Jon Moss. A affair was universally problematic, & a pressure to hide a relationship began to choose its toll.

A band too began to lose its place musically. Their next album, 1984's "Waking Up With the House on Fire", was the major disappointment. & though the band gained a little comeback using 1986's "From Luxury to Heartache" (thanks to the hit "Move Away"), each George's & Jon's fights created good deal tension, at length leading to the breakup of the band. Around this period, George as well became addicted to heroin, which created a hysteria using a tabloids. In time, George would let last of the habit & commence his solo career. When George scored many hits within Europe & eventually hit a The states top Twenty by owning 1992's "The Crying Game", he was never respire to email a profits he achieved by having Culture Club.

Inside 1998, the b& put their issues aside and decided to launder a reunion tour. Kicked murder by having the performance in VH1 Storytellers, the tour was a major profits. Shortly fallowing, Culture Club recorded the newly album titled "Don't Mind If I Do". Though never discharged in a U.s.a., the number one individual, "I Just Wanna Be Loved"(UK #4), was featured in a compilation depending in the Storytellers performance.

A band went in to tour for two or three other years. Recently, still, Culture Club has been inactive, largely due to Son George's concentratiin on his successful career as a DJ.
